Birth*Cornelia of the Khoe was born circa 1665 in de Caep de Goede Hoop, the date is estimated. Valentyn notes that in 1685 she had been living with Jan Dircksen de Beer for 16 years but that she later moved back with her people.2

  1. Valentyn does not name this individual in the referance consulted, however she is apparently named as Cornelia in separate publications by G.C. de Wet and H.C. Bredekamp.
