Abraham van Macassar was included in a list of Maccassarese royalty — Lijst … de … Macasarschen Princen C.501 — sent from the Cape to the VOC in Batavia. His date of arrival and reason for his banishment were not recorded in Changing Hands on 5 September 1686.¹
