BirthOrigin*Salamma was from Madagascar and was perhaps born there circa 1685. The date is estimated, she appears to have had her first child in 1699.1

On 8 August 1700 Salamma van Madagascar and Abraham van de Caep van Salamma were enslaved and owned by the VOC (Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie) at the Cape.1
