BaptismRachel van de Caep was baptized on 30 August 1705 Nederduitsche Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town). The baptism was witnessed by Maria van Bengale.2 
Slaves owned by individualsBetween 21 January 1703 and 20 February 1707 Rachel van de Caep and Helena van Batavia were owned by Lambert Adrianse van Weede. I have assumed Helena to be the same woman named variously as Helena van Batavia / van Java / van de Caab.1
