Claes was from Amsterdam and was perhaps born there circa 1630. His age is estimated.¹

Monsterrollen and Opgaafrollen (Muster and tax rolls)

On 31 May 1657 Claes de Logie was enumerated in the muster roll, being recorded among the convicts and men in chains for 3 months.¹
On 15 February 1658 Claes de Logie was enumerated in the muster roll, he was recorded as Claes de Logie, of Amsterdam, sailor.²
