BirthOrigin*Augustus was from Madagascar and was perhaps born there circa 1682. I have assumed him to be of similar age to other individuals sold on the same date for the same price.1 
Duplicate?*It is possible that Augustus NN and Augustus van Madagascar are the same individual. 
Slave TransactionsOn 23 January 1700 Augustus van Madagascar was sold by Claes Decker to Willem Adriaan van der Stel, for Rds. 30.2
