Claas was from Madagascar and was perhaps born there circa 1680. He was said to be 20 years old in 1700.¹

Slave Transactions

On 5 January 1700 Willem van Madagascar and Claas van Madagascar were sold by Joan Blesius to Francoijs dü Toit, for Rds. 70 each.²
