Fortunatus was from Madagscar and was perhaps born there circa 1689. He was said to be 10 years old in 1699.²

Slave Transactions

On 28 April 1699 Fortunatus van Madagascar was sold by Abraham van Bogaard to Samuel Corsenaar, for Rds. 45.³
