BirthOrigin*Jacob was from Bengal and was perhaps born there circa 1687. He was said to be 12 years old in 1699.1 
Slave TransactionsOn 19 March 1699 Jacob van Bengale was sold by Coenradus Cock to Jan Brommert, on condition that he could purchase Jacob back if he returned, the price was not recorded.2
