Siko was from the Coromandel Coast and was perhaps born there circa 1673. He was said to be 26 years old in 1699.¹

Slave Transactions

On 25 February 1699 Siko van de Kust Coromandel was sold by Pieter Pijl to Francois van der Stel, for Rds. 60. I have assumed the seller in this transaction is the same individual who married Jeanne Nel in 1708. Corrections welcome.²
