Slave Transactions | On 25 November 1698 Lourens van Malabar was sold by Claes Hendriks Diepenhout to Hendricùs Munckerùs, for Rds. 44, this according to Böeseken who said he was the principaale slaaf of the latter. However in Changing Hands, Shell says the seller was Christoffel van Voorst and the purchaser Diepenouw.2,3 |
