Pieter was from the Malabar Coast and was perhaps born there circa 1682. He was said to be 16 years old in 1698.¹

Slave Transactions

On 9 May 1698 Pieter van Malabar was sold on behalf of Claas Dom by Willem Wiederhold van Wiederhoven to Hans Hendrik Smit, for Rds. 58.²
On 10 May 1698 Pieter van Malabar was sold by Hans Hendrik Smith to Domingo van Bengale, for Rds. 70.³
