Jacob was from Trancquebar and was perhaps born there circa 1687. He was said to be 11 years old in 1698.¹

Slave Transactions

On 5 February 1698 Jacob van Trancquebaer and Daniël van Trancquebaer were sold by Jan Dircks de Beer to Jan van Beveren, for Rds. 60 each.²
