BirthOrigin*Andries was from the and was perhaps born there circa 1673. He was said to be 24 years old in 1697 and 23 years old in 1699.2 
Names in the record, in publications, etc.21 September 1699, the name of Andries was written in the record as Andries van de Kust Coromandel.3
Slave TransactionsOn 27 June 1697 Andries Origin Unknown and Adam van Bengale were sold by Marinus Verhulst to Jan Dircks de Beer, for Rds. 50 and Rds. 30, respectively.4
On 21 September 1699 Andries Origin Unknown was sold by Jan Dircks de Beer to Marthinus Poussioen, for Rds. 100. I have assumed him to be the same individual without provenance purchased by De Beer in 1697 and now said to be from the Coromandel Coast.3
