David was from the Coromandel Coast and was perhaps born there circa 1672. He was said to be 25 years old in 1697.¹

Slave Transactions

On 25 June 1697 David van de Kust Coromandel was sold by Hendrick van Buytenhem to Jan Brommert, for Rds. 70.²
