Domingo was from Pondicherry and was perhaps born there circa 1683. He was said to be 14 years old in 1697.¹

Slave Transactions

On 25 June 1697 Domingo van Pondicherry was sold by Jan Hendrik Smit to Henning Hüsing, for Rds. 40. I have assumed the day of this transaction to be the 25th, given that it is recorded in the middle of several others on this day.²
