Jacob was from the Malabar Coast and was perhaps born there circa 1675. He was said to be 22 years old in 1697.¹

Slave Transactions

On 11 June 1697 Jacob van Malabar and Jillis van Malabar were sold by Gerrit Krieck to Henning Hüsing, for Rds. 55 each.²
