Occupation* On 14 May 1697 Jan Buys was a VOC employee, on the Zion.1 
Occupation On 27 June 1697 Jan Buys was a bookkeeper on De Nederland, I have assumed him to be the same individual described as a VOC employee on the Zion on the 14th May 1697. Corrections welcome.2

On 14 May 1697 Antonika van Bengale was sold by Jan Buys to Hendrik Barent Oldenlandt, for Rds. 50.4
On 22 May 1697 Bastiaan van Bengale was sold by Jan Buys to Jan Hendrik Voogt, for Rds. 90.5
On 27 June 1697 Maria van Bengale was sold by Jan Buys to Jan Brommert, for Rds. 100.2
