BirthOrigin*Magnus was from Trancquebar and was perhaps born there circa 1685. He was said to be 12 years old in 1697.1 
Slave TransactionsOn 5 January 1697 Balthazar van Trancquebare and Magnus van Trancquebare were sold by Jan Pietersz: van Vleugel to Henning Hüsing, for Rds. 67 each.2
