Jan was from the Tranquebar and was perhaps born there circa 1678. He was said to be 17 years old in 1694.¹

Slave Transactions

On 18 January 1695 Jan van Tranquebar and Pieter van Tranquebar were sold by Frans Meyer to Andrijs de Man, for Rds. 60 each.²
