BirthOrigin*Manuel was from Madras and was perhaps born there circa 1675. He was said to be 19 years old in 1694.1 
Slave TransactionsOn 22 August 1694 Manuel van Madras and Drigo van Mozambique were sold by John Lloyd to Gerrit Basson, for Rds. 100, Cape valuation.2
