BirthOrigin*David was from the Coromandel Coast and was perhaps born there between 1672 and 1674. He was said to be between 20 and 22 years old in 1694.1 
Slave TransactionsOn 2 June 1694 David van der Kust Coromandel was sold by Bernhard Caascoper to Hendrik Barent Oldenlandt, Caascoper had inherited David from the late Stephanus Phenix of Hougly. The record does not include the price paid.2
On 23 December 1694 David van der Kust Coromandel was sold by Hendrik Barent Oldenlandt to Willem Corsenaar, for f 440, Cape valuation.3
