BirthOrigin*Jango was from Madras and was perhaps born there circa 1678. He was said to be 15 or 16 years old in 1694.1 
Names in the record, in publications, etc.1 June 1694, the name of Jango was written in the record as Johngo Longo van Madras, which Shell categorizes as a fascetious name, presumably based on the name of John Longo.2
Slave TransactionsOn 1 June 1694 Jango Longo van Madras was sold by John Long to Gerret Basson, for Rds. 109.3
