Francis was from Mozambique and was perhaps born there in 1674/75. He was said to be 19 or 20 years old in 1694.¹

Slave Transactions

On 23 May 1694 Francis van Mozambique and Urban van Mozambique were sold by William Wildey to Jan Dircks de Beer, for Rds. 80 each.²
