Francis was f rom Malabar Coast and was perhaps born there circa 1662. He was said to be 30 years old in 1692.¹

On 19 June 1692 Francis van Malabar and Pharo van Macassar were sold on behalf of Matthijs Eijsleben, by Pieter Meffert to Cornelis Jansz Simons, for Rds. 150.²
