Domingo was from Madagascar and was perhaps born there in 1668/69. He was 9 or 10 when sold as a slave in 1678.¹

Names in the record, in publications, etc.

11 July 1678, the name of Domingo was written in the record as Domingo Aapekint van Madagascar.²

On 11 July 1678 Domingo Aapekint was sold by Martinus van Banchem to Jackie Joy van Angola, for Rds. 35.^3,2
