BirthOrigin*Seeren was from Malling, Denmark, and was perhaps born there circa 1640. The date is estimated. Because of his name I have assumed his origin is Malling, Denmark and not Malling, France.2
Occupation* On 16 August 1677 Seeren Seerensen was a company official in charge of the company slaves.3
Names in the record, in publications, etc.On 10 February 1677 Seeren was incorrectly named in the record as (an unknown value.)4
10 March 1677, the name of Seeren was written in the record as Seuren Seurensz.1
On 16 August 1677 Seeren was incorrectly named in the record as (an unknown value.)3,5
Slave TransactionsOn 10 March 1677 Michiel Casta van Madagascar was sold by Seeren Seerensen to Christoffel Paulsen and Hendrik Snewindt, for Rds. 40.6,7
On 16 August 1677 Lijsbeth van Madagascar was sold by Simon Semens to Alexander Blanck, for Rds. 13. At this price I assume she was very young.2,8
