Michiel was from Paliacatta and perhaps born there circa 1665. He was 10 when sold as a slave in 1675.¹

Michiel van Paleacatte and Jan Tuticorin were sold by Reijnier Claassen, to Jeronimus Cruse on 21 April 1675, for Rds 70.^2,3
