BirthOrigin*Jacob was from Macassar and may have been born there circa 1661. He was 10 years old when sold as a slave in 1671.2 
Slave TransactionsJacob van Macassar and Thomas van Bengale were sold by Mathijs Coemans to Dirck Bosch on 2 March 1671, for f 450. The transaction included baking equipment.3,1
