Sara was from Madagascar and perhaps born there between 1658 and 1660. She was said to be between 26 and 28 years old in 1686.^2,3

Slave Transactions

On 5 May 1686 Sara van Madagascar was sold by William Deeron to Erasmus Hans van Lier, for Rds. 43.⁴
On 26 October 1686 Sara van Madagascar was sold by Erasmus Hans van Lier to Johannes van Keulen, for Rds. 50.⁵
