Baptisms - Witness | Jacob Cornelis potentially witnessed the baptism of Anna Haselaar on 28 December 1698 Nederduitsch Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town), de Caep de Goede Hoop, this witness has not been positively identified.6 He and Jacomijntie van Madegasker, Jacomijntje van Madagascar and Jacomijntje van Madagascar witnessed the baptism of Dorothea van de Caep on 24 September 1702 Nederduitsche Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town), de Caep de Goede Hoop. This was the only individual thus named who was baptised and therefor eligible to witness a baptism.7 He potentially witnessed the baptism of Marta van de Caep on 1 July 1703 Nederduitsche Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town), this witness has not been positively identified.8 He and Sara van Madagascar witnessed the baptism of Adam van de Caep on 9 November 1710 Nederduitsche Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town).9 He witnessed the baptism of Dorothé Wolder on 15 November 1711 Nederduitsche Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town).10 |
