BaptismPieter de Vries was baptized on 4 September 1708 Nederduitsch Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town), de Caep de Goede Hoop. The baptism was witnessed by Cornelis van Soetermeer and Adriana Coesterman.1 
Death*He may have died before 1 December 1714 de Caep de Goede Hoop given that he was not mentioned as a beneficiary through his mother in the estate of his grandfather Daniel Zaaijman.2
