Johannes van Harwarden was born in 1657 in de Caep de Goede Hoop.¹

On 15 February 1658 Joanna Boddys was enumerated in the muster roll, as the wife of the sergeant, Jan van Harwarden, with two sons, who would have been Hendrik Does and Johannes van Harwarden.²
