The baptism was witnessed by Constantia van de Caep, Constantia van de Caep and Emanùel van Macasser. This witness has not been positively identified but Constantia van de Caep and Constantia van de Caep is(are) potentially the correct individual(s.)1 
Slave BirthsBefore 13 May 1708, Amerentie van de Caep was born in bondage and was owned by Gerrit Jansz van Aart de Caep de Goede Hoop.1
