Birth*Johannes Jacobus Kock was born circa 1705 in Sachsenhausen, Waldeck, Germany.1
 
Marriage*He married Jannetje van Royen, daughter of Cornelis van Rooyen and Jacomina Gerritsz van Deventer, on 8 October 1747 Nederduitsch Gereformeerde Kerk, Drakenstein, de Caep de Goede Hoop. The marriage was performed by Ds. Salomon van Echten.2
Names in the record, in publications, etc.8 October 1747, the name of Johannes was written in the record as Jan Jacob Cock.2
