Hester van der Merwe was baptized on 22 July 1725 Nederduitsch Gereformeerde Kerk, Drakenstein, de Caep de Goede Hoop. The baptism was witnessed by Marie Catherine le Fèvre and Schalk van der Merwe.²

Marriage*

She married Jacob Pienaar, son of Pierre Pinard and Jeanne Terrier, on 19 July 1744 Drakenstein.^1,3

Death*

She died on 12 February 1770 de Caep de Goede Hoop.³
