The baptism was witnessed by Martha du Toit, Pierre de Villiers and Pierre de Villiers. This witness has not been positively identified but Pierre de Villiers and Pierre de Villiers is(are) potentially the correct individual(s.)³

He married Rachel Roux, daughter of Pierre Roux and Suzanne de Villiers, on 26 February 1741 de Caep de Goede Hoop.^4,5
