    Lorna Newcomb: Leibbrandt se Precis van Mermorials en Requesten (p443) verwys na Fenske baie kortliks onder 1720 Fenske Jacob not described (no 86a,: Date 31st January). Die inskrywing in die register dui moontlik daarop dat hy as volwassene gedoop is, maar dit blyk snaaks aangesien skribas gewoonlik sulke gevalle as "bejaard" of "Na Belydenis" aangetoon het Wat die laaste gedeelte beteken is moeilik om te verklaar, maar dit lyk na "Mennist" Daar was Menniste/Mennoniete aan die Kaap reeds sedert Van Riebeeck se tyd en dit maak ook meer sin waarom niks anders gesê word i.v.m. hierdie doopinskrywing nie.. Hereinafter cited as Drakenstein I Baptisms.
