BirthOrigin*Bisei was from Macassar, Gowa-Talloq, Sulawesi, and was likely born there on 29 November 1654. He was born into the Macassarese royal family and would become the Sultan.4 
Death*He died on 15 March 1681 at age 26, other sources say he died on 15 August 1681.4
 
Occupation* Between 3 October 1674 and 27 July 1677 Kareang Bisei van Macassar was the Karaeng or Sultan Of Makassar — recorded in the contemporaneous VOC correspondence as Crain Bissee.5,4 
Names in the record, in publications, etc.4 April 1681, the name of Bisei was written in the record as Crain Bissee.6
