Two infant children of Jacob Alewijnsz Tol were buried in the Oude Kerk:
Kind van Jacob Alewijnsz. Tol

Kind van Jacob Alewijnsz. Tol
Plaats Delft, Datum Begraven 14-09-1652 (Oude Kerk)
Delft inv. nr.39, Begraafboek Oude en Nieuwe Kerk
On the 21st December 1663, as the widow of Jacob Alewijnsz
Tol, Lijsbet van der Piet, appeared before the Weeskamer at
Delft and reported that she had five children left without a
father: Marij aged 16 years, Alewijn aged 9, Ariaentie, age
6 years, Dirck aged 4 years and Willem Jacobs Thol aged 2
years.
(Delft, Gemeentearchief - Weeskamer Comparitieregisters)
This last piece of information, Ariaentie oud 6 jaaren in
1663, combined with the previous entries strongly suggests
that the child baptised Adriana in 1649 was buried during
1652 and therefore a second daughter was given the same
name; it was, after all, an important family name, that of
Lijsbet van der Piet's mother.

1722 is only a date when I assume her still to be alive, it is not a firm date of death.

I now have a fairly firm date for the death of Jan Smit - October 1696. For a short (translated) account of what appears in Biewenga's book see: http://www.ballfamilyrecords.co.uk/smit/I224.html which contains the total amount of what I have been able to find out about him.
